Meet Emily!

Emily is seven-years-old. She has been in school for two years.  Her favorite part of winter break was playing in the snow – FUN!  Her favorite subject is science.  Some of Emily’s friends are Madison, Madelyn, Caleb, Johnny, and Ben.  Emily’s favorite part of the day is lunch break.  Her favorite part of morning exercises is reading the Bible. She has learned to be kind, obedient, and to love God.  She wants to be a veterinarian when she grows up. Her favorite thing to do at home is to play outside and play with her Playdough. Her favorite snack is yogurt.  Her favorite movie is Eloise.  Emily’s favorite thing about Pastor is his preaching.  She loves our school because everybody gets along with each other and we are one, big, happy family—awww!  Emily’s favorite family memory is when they all went to Hershey Park.  Emily’s favorite teacher is Mrs. Pratnicki. Emily’s favorite thing about her teacher is when she helps her and is kind and when they do something wrong she is forgiving.  By Annisa

Meet Justin!

This is Justin and he is fourteen-years-old and is in 9th grade.  His favorite part of school (besides going to Camp Shiloh) is that we are all friends and we all get along.  His favorite subject in school is geography and his favorite sport is hockey!  He loves tacos and likes to hunt in his spare time.  He loves the color orange and his favorite Bible verse is John 3:16.

We asked Justin’s friends what they think about him.  Mark said, “He is a great friend and I love spending time with him; he has good sportsmanship and is very kind.”

Everyone really likes Justin Johnston.  He is funny, smart, nice, interesting, and someone who is just himself.  It is so great having him in our school—we wish him a 20-pointer!

Meet Frank!

Frank is in 12th grade and is seventeen-years-old.  His favorite part about Long Island Baptist Academy is that the student body is like a close-knit family.  His favorite color is green.  Frank's favorite thing about Christmas is the fun activities and good spirit that  people have.  Frank thinks that his teacher is an extremely knowledgeable person and shows great care for others.  His favorite food is a bacon, egg, and cheese bagel and his favorite verse is proverbs 3:5-6.

Frank is super nice to everyone - all the teachers think highly of him and Pastor says he is one of the finest young men he has ever known. One thing about Frank - he is always nice to all of the "under classmen," a characteristic that makes us all really respect him.  No one wants to even think about him graduating!  We all think our school is great and Frank just adds to that spirit of greatness!
