Civil War Day Interviews

As most of our readers know, this past week at Long Island Baptist Academy was School Spirit Week. I interviewed one student from each class about their day. Here’s what each one had to say:

John Sengstock
Question: Who were you for Civil War Day?
Answer: A drummer boy
Question: What did you enjoy most about Civil War Day?
Answer: The cookies!
Question: Would you rather live during the Civil War Days, or now?
Answer: Now
Question Did you enjoy taking the pictures? What was your favorite?
Answer: Yes; the one he took with his class
Question: Who dressed the Best?
Answer: Boy—Ben / Girl—Gracie
Question: Who’s your Civil War hero?
Answer: Abe Lincoln

Gracie Sengstock
Question: What was your favorite part of Civil War Day?
Answer: Taking pictures
Question: Who were you?
Answer: A lady in a dress; a southern belle
Question: Describe your Civil War Day.
Answer: The girls ran in the field for an action photo shot, found a caterpillar, my dress was green, and I would rather live today and not back then.
Question: Who’s your Civil War hero?
Answer: Clara Barton
Question: Who dressed the best?
Answer: Boy—Justin / Girl—Anna

Megan Androvich
Question: Who were you?
Answer: A girl from the South, a Southern belle
Question: What was your favorite part of Civil war Day?
Answer: I enjoyed taking the pictures and dressing up. The day was altogether great.
Question: Who dressed the best?
Answer: Boy—Josh / Girl—Silvia
Question: Would you rather live then or now? Why?
Answer: Then, because of how lady-like the girls were.
Question: Who’s your Civil War hero? Why?
Answer: Clara Barton, because I’m a direct descendent!
