Justin, a sixth-grader, loves to do math. One of his fondest school memories is our annual class trip to Bethpage Village. Justin is sometimes referred to as J&R’s Steakhouse, Jaybird, or the Steak by some of his peers. Justin enjoys playing baseball, basketball, and chess with his friends. He is also an aspiring artist who loves to draw in his leisure time. Of all the things he likes to eat, tacos are his favorite! JR, a huge sports fan, loves to watch his favorite players, Mark and Mariano Rivera. Something that Justin admires about our school is opening exercises and the friendly spirit that we all share. Justin also wanted to add that he greatly appreciates our teachers!
Justin’s friends say that he is a good friend, a good listener, a great chess player, athletic, and caring.
Mrs. Graf says, “Justin is a wonderful young man and I’m sorry to see him leave our class. He is respectful, kind, and fun-loving with a terrific sense of humor! He comprises one third of the “River Boys” in my class—all of whom contribute to making our classroom a very exciting and, at times, hilarious place! Justin is so tender-hearted and, as a teacher, I have often been the recipient of his kindness and helpfulness. I’m so glad I’ve had the opportunity to teach him for as long as I have.
